“Where’s my MBTA Bus?” is an app for Massachusetts transit riders who want to know exactly where their bus is and when it will arrive. It can help riders decide if they need to rush or can restfully finish their morning coffee.

This app relies on MBTA partnership with NextBus inc, to provide real-time bus arrival predictions. Data is provided by NextBus using MBTA raw data. The app provides a pre-filled template to report problems, letting riders send feedback and improve the accuracy of predictions.

This App requires an Internet connection (3G, 4G, LTE or WiFi) to get access to real-time data.

This is definitely one of the most useful apps on my phone! I live in Central Square and have only used it for buses that run frequently, but it has been very reliable. Just dont try to predict ETA of a bus from its location on the map... If it says 2 minutes, it probably is 2 minutes, even if the bus is shown 7 blocks and 4 stops away. Overall a very good investment!
I love this app. Ive tried others but yours is the best. But with recent iPhone update I can no longer touch the screen in map to select a stop. Please dont stop the good work!
I seldom write reviews, much less rave reviews, but... this app is terrific - I recommend to all my commuting friends. Thank you, app developer - nice job!

Some bad moments

So the app is great when your bus is on time, but if its late, youll have no idea where it is. It will tell you the wrong times and once that wrong time has passed, you cant track the bus anymore. And sometimes it just wont tell you what time your bus is showing up at all. Plus the alerts button has been broken for months. Id still say this is a must have for anyone riding the buses, but it needs improvement.
I deleted this after I kept getting repeated error messages for the one bus I use (#32 of the MBTA in Boston)
This app does not work with the newest iOS update from sep16!
This app continues to crash with a message that says "cannot connect to local host". I also just got an iPhone 7 and the app interface appears stretched on the larger screen.
It used to, but now the time estimates jump around and then disappear. Going to look for a newer app.
Simply put, this is the best, easiest to use and quickest to use app you will find for MBTA buses. It has all the routes, it always right on time and allows you to easily plan when youre going to leave somewhere. Saves you the fear of the unknown...did I just miss the bus, do I have to rush to get the bus?
